The Good Medico is an American medical drama television serial based on the 2013 South Korean series of the same name. Histrion Daniel Dae Kim noticed the original serial and bought the rights for his product company. He began adapting the serial and, in 2015, eventually shopped it to CBS, his dwelling house network.
